Hi, my name is Nicole LeBlanc and I'm your hostess for your Tour de Jasper trips.
I've been cycling since I can remember, but really embraced cycling in the '90s. Cycling opened up a whole new world to me that I never knew I was missing. I've met life-long friends, had the great pleasure of being a coordinator and head leader for the PGCC Sprockids Learn to Ride Program and currently pursuing a coaching career in mountain biking.
In 1999 going on my first cycling tour was probably the most life-turning event in my riding
career. Not only was there a physical component to the adventure, there was now a
call for mental strength. I was very fortunate to have a partner who was an
experienced cycle tourer and he planned, coordinated and prepared for
the trip. In the end, I just needed to show up and cycle. Of course, after
my firm determination that I was bringing my pillow.
On returning from this tour, I was so excited and decided that every
beginner needs to have their “first tour” be a positive experience.
Voila!, the birth of Tour de Jasper.
For the last ten years I have met great people with many returning year
after year. Tour de Jasper strives to be that best “first tour” for everyone,
experienced or not.
Welcome and thank you for choosing to spend your holiday with us.
